Hawk

Principal Fuger held HAWK Talks with elementary students to celebrate academics and set goals to achieve STRETCH growth!

Grade level assemblies were held at the beginning of second quarter to celebrate student achievement of the beginning of year i-Ready Diagnostic in Reading and Math.

A leadership lesson is taught to help students understand the purpose of setting personal WIGs (Wildly Important Goals) and establish lead measures so that each student can STRETCH their growth on the next diagnostic in January. Students will be focusing on passing at least two lessons in both reading and math personal paths, as well as focusing on the certain 7 Habits as seen on the poster to the right. Each student will be signing their poster as a piece of accountability toward this process.

The students cheered themselves on at the end of the assemblies as a pump-up strategy. Students are also supported by their teachers through the weekly leadership lessons to continue their journey to leading themselves to greatness! As an elementary team, our purpose is to instruct and inspire our students to be the best that they can be in all they do!
