Celebrating the Strong Start Our Students Receive at Little Hawks Preschool!
At Little Hawks Preschool, our four year-old students are busy learning through play and engaging activities! Led by teachers Callie Hirschler (known as Miss Callie) and Becca Ruble (known as Miss Becca), our preschoolers receive a stellar foundation for their educational journey. They receive strong educational foundations with essential assistance from classroom paraprofessionals, Tessa Stidham and Kristina Rudd, as they engage with the Iowa Early Learning Standards.
One of the first things you will notice in our hallways is the vibrant showcase of student work on our wall displays outside the classrooms. These displays not only celebrate our students' achievements but also offer a glimpse into their growth and development. The projects highlight their fine motor skills and artistic exploration, crucial for early writing development.
Our classrooms are always filled with positive energy as students eagerly welcome guest educators. This year, we were honored to have Sunny Robbins, Librarian of the Donnellson Public Library, as a special guest reader.
For the past six years, Little Hawks Preschool has been a cherished addition to our school's programming. We are thankful for the ongoing staff and public support for our four-year-old preschool.
