October is always a favorite time of year for Central Lee Art students. They held their annual Haunted Trail last year, which drew record numbers of visitors and featured beautiful weather. Many people had a thrilling experience walking through the trail with plenty of spooks and scares!
In May, our students had the incredible opportunity to learn from artist Carol Gunn. We held a workshop at the Montrose Riverfront Building where students learned about Carol as an artist and her unique techniques. The day was spent creating beautiful pastel art, and the students left with both stunning art pieces and newly acquired artistic skills.
Looking ahead, the Art Club will be hosting the Hallowthanksmas Craft and Vendor show on October 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We invite everyone to come out and see the amazing talent on display at the show. If you're a vendor interested in participating, there is still room to sign up!
