High School
Welcome to the new school year! We are fortunate to have an exceptional team of dedicated and talented staff, and our students have already demonstrated a positive attitude and respect as we settle into the year.
Our high school operates on a modified block schedule, allowing for extended time in classes to enhance learning through hands-on activities and labs. Each day is structured with a rotating schedule of four blocks, with a dedicated 28-minute SOAR block through which students receive targeted support in areas such as math, literacy, career readiness, leadership, and social-emotional development.
We are thrilled to report that Homecoming 2025 was a great success! Our “Hawks’ Showdown!” theme brought incredible school spirit. The homecoming festivities were a memorable time for students, alumni, and the entire community, and we are grateful for the support from families and the broader community in making it a safe and enjoyable event.
As we move forward, we continue to prioritize fostering positive relationships, encouraging student growth, and maintaining our focus on academic and personal development. Let's keep the momentum going throughout the school year!
Middle School
The 2025-26 school year is off to a great start!
We have been concentrating on our building’s Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).
Our district and building goals for leadership this year are:
Every student will engage in their own personal WIG process each quarter.
Students will establish a personal WIG for each quarter and document progress on their lead measures each week.
Students are focusing on goal setting to learn how to set WIGs. They are tracking and measuring their progress toward their goals, meeting with accountability partners, and understanding how to make goals to which they can hold themselves accountable.
Our academic district and building goals are:
Every student will demonstrate adequate academic growth based on district assessments (ISASP).
Students will pass their individual iReady goal each week in reading and math.
To meet these goals, students are expected to pass 1-2 iReady lessons per week for both reading and math, based on their diagnostic results. They are also expected to spend at least 30 minutes in both reading and math. Lesson lengths can vary from five minutes to over 30 minutes. Talk to your student about how they are doing on their iReady lessons and goals.
Elementary
Central Lee Elementary students are truly Shining Bright & Leading the Way this school year through their commitment to the 4 Disciplines of Execution. Each student in grades K-4 is setting WIGs both academically and in leadership. To achieve these goals, they focus on their Lead Measures—the specific actions they commit to each week that move them closer to success.
Accountability is at the heart of the process, with students tracking their progress and sharing updates with Superintendent Dr. Crozier, Curriculum Director Mrs. Fransk, and Principal Mrs. Fuger. Their building-wide scoreboard proudly showcases how they are doing, reminding everyone that when you focus on what’s most important, success follows. The year is off to a fantastic start!
Beyond academics, Central Lee Elementary is cultivating a culture of kindness and leadership. Students embrace their role as High-5 Hawks by living out their daily mantra: “I will give it my all, make good choices, follow directions, and be kind because that’s how I earn a High-5!” This isn’t just a catchy phrase—it’s a powerful mindset that fosters responsibility, respect, and a positive learning environment.
Whether setting personal WIGs, practicing leadership skills, or showing kindness to classmates, Central Lee Elementary students are leading by example every day. Together, they are building both academic achievement and a community in which every student has the opportunity to shine. ✨
