Award Winners

The Central Lee Community School District recognized the exemplary contributions and dedication of several teachers and staff members during its 2025-26 Annual Awards Ceremony.

Instructional Coach Pam Barclift was named Teacher of the Year, an honor recognizing her years of service, leadership, and commitment to student success. After a successful career as a classroom teacher, Barclift became an instructional coach, where she has supported teachers, worked with students in small-group settings, and helped develop strategies to meet a variety of student needs. As she prepares for retirement, colleagues noted that her impact on students and staff will be felt for years to come.

Groundskeeper Jerod Woolverton was recognized as Newcomer of the Year. Though new to the district, Woolverton has already earned the respect of colleagues through his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining district grounds. Staff members praised the pride he takes in his work and the positive impression he has made across the district.

The Chris Gray Award was presented to Principal Kim Ensminger. Named after longtime Central Lee employee Chris Gray, who served the district for more than 40 years, the award recognizes longevity and dedication to service. During more than two decades at Central Lee, Ensminger has served as a teacher, transportation director, special education director, and principal, impacting countless students, staff members, and families.

The district also recognized June Septer and Lenel Manwill as Employees of the Year. Septer, a member of the district's food service team, was honored for creating a welcoming environment for students and staff while consistently going above and beyond in her role. Manwill was recognized for her dedication to students, her tireless work ethic, and the support she provides to students and classroom teachers each day.

Dianna Fellows was named Substitute of the Year for her exceptional service in multiple long-term classroom assignments throughout the school year. Whether working in preschool, 2nd grade, or 3rd grade classrooms, Fellows ensured students continued to receive high-quality instruction and support. Colleagues praised her flexibility, professionalism, and willingness to step into any role needed.

Kevin Griffith was recognized as Bus Driver of the Year for his commitment to safely transporting students and providing dependable service to district families.

“It is an honor to celebrate the incredible dedication and talent of our educators and staff,” said Superintendent Dr. Andy Crozier. “Each of these individuals makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and contributes to the positive culture that defines Central Lee. Their commitment to excellence helps ensure our students have the support they need to succeed.”

Central Lee congratulates all award recipients and thanks them for their dedication to students, families, and the school community.
