There will be an early dismissal at 12:00pm on Friday, October 9, so students can attend the homecoming parade in Montrose at 2:00pm.

Several Central Lee FFA members helped make Farm Strong Night a success during last week’s football game!
Throughout the evening, kids had the opportunity to answer agriculture-related questions and win prizes for showing off their ag knowledge. Farm Bureau sponsored the evening and provided games, prizes, and T-shirts for kids to enjoy.
Central Lee FFA members also helped make the night extra sweet by serving up s’mores for the kids!
We love seeing our FFA members get involved in our community and help provide fun opportunities for younger students to learn a little agriculture along the way.

Central Lee FFA had 23 students attend Southeastern Community College (SCC) to explore five different Career Development Events (CDEs): Ag Mechanics, Poultry, Agronomy, Farm Business Management, and Biotechnology.
The morning portion of the day focused on learning from industry professionals. Students received instruction specific to their selected contest, learned more about the skills and knowledge needed to compete, and had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insight from professionals in the agriculture industry.
In the afternoon, students put their knowledge to the test as they competed against other students and schools in their selected CDE.

Central Lee FFA took 24 students to Boone, Iowa, to attend the Farm Progress Show, one of the largest agricultural trade shows in the country!
Students spent the day exploring more than 600 agribusiness exhibits, seeing massive field machinery, learning about cutting-edge technology, and discovering new innovations being used in today’s agriculture industry. Students also had the opportunity to watch field demonstrations, attend agricultural seminars, visit with industry professionals, and connect with people from across the agriculture industry.

Cross Country Dominance and NEW SCHOOL RECORD!
Last night at the Mount Pleasant Cross Country Meet, our boys took home 1st place behind four members placing in the top 15. Our girls team finished runner up behind Mid-Prairie.
With her 5th place finish and a time of 20:27.3, Aubree Bunnell set a new school record in the 5k! This great achievement resembles the dedication and competitive mindset Aubree holds for herself. We are proud of her hard work and growth, and we look forward to her to do more great things this season!

Central Lee FFA had a great week at the Iowa State Fair! This year, 5 students exhibited livestock, and 10 FFA members served as ushers or stage attendants throughout the fair.
Our members had the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and connect with other FFA members and exhibitors from across Iowa. We are proud of the way our students represented Central Lee FFA both in and out of the show ring!

✅ Heavier books and items belong closest to the back
✅ Straps should be adjusted so the backpack fits snugly
