Central Lee Hawks Place is hosting our annual Trunk-or-Treat on October 24, 2025 at Central Lee Elementary School, and we’d love for YOU to join the fun! This event will take place during our Central Lee PTO Family Fall Fun Festival.
We’re looking for businesses to decorate a trunk, hand out candy or small giveaways, and connect with local families. This is a great way to promote your business while making Halloween extra special for our students.

Last Friday, we recognized Farmers Savings Bank for their incredibly generous $15,000 donation to the Central Lee Sports Boosters in support of our baseball and softball facility renovations.

Each year the Southeast district and Iowa FFA officers plan and facilitate Greenhand Fire Up Conferences for FFA members in the Southeast district. Cedar Rapids Prairie welcomed FFA chapters from all over our district on September 22nd.
While at Cedar Rapids Prairie, district and state officers lead four interactive workshops for first year high school FFA members, also known as Greenhands, for the annual Greenhand Fire Up Conference. The workshops facilitated were leadership focused with an emphasis on the experiences that occur in the lives of beginning high school students.
