We celebrate our HAWKS of the Month for December. These students were selected for displaying regularly Habit 3: Put First Things First. They were an example to their peers of staying focused on what they needed to do by minimizing distractions, spending time on things that are most important, and getting things done first before playing. #Proud2bCL
If you have a student who will be 5 years old by September 15, 2024, please come to Kindergarten Roundup on Thursday, January 11th at 6:00 pm at the PK-8 Building. Students are welcome to attend to have the opportunity to meet the kindergarten teachers. If you have any questions, please call the PK-8 Office 319-835-9510.

Is your student sick? To return to school, students need to be 24 hours fever free without the use of fever-reducing medication. They also need to be without vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours.
If your student isn’t feeling well, we encourage them to stay home. Please do your part to keep our community safe and healthy!

The Central Lee Music Boosters would like to thank the community for their generous support of our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser! We raised almost $14,000 through this effort! Our students in the band and choir programs K-12 will benefit. We awarded our Top 10 Sellers today. They earned gift cards and a sweet treat! Happy Holidays!

Congratulations to the boys basketball team on their 76-35 win against Columbus tonight! Unfortunately, the girls lost a close one in overtime 49-45.
December is Learn a Foreign Language Month! 🌎🗣️
Central Lee encourages students to explore new languages by enrolling in a class, attending cultural fairs, or learning about other people’s experiences. Every month is a good month to learn a new language!

The 2nd & 3rd Graders, along with 5th Grade Band, held their Holiday Concert last evening. The gym was completely full of happy These kiddos showed their hard work so far this school year. What amazing progress in such a short amount of time for those instrumentalists. The 2nd and 3rd Graders performed North Pole Star Musical. WOW- these kiddos were there to entertain the audience. Stars were born as students sang solos and played special parts in the play. Thank you to Heather Madsen, Ethan Stewart, and Tracy Madsen for directing the students to success. We also extend gratitude to the custodial staff for all they do during concert season to make the environment clean and safe for students and guests.
Hawk's Place After School Program announces winners of their Chess Tournament. Thank you to all students who participated and many who tried something new. Congratulations to the following: 1st Place- Cam Crozier, 2nd Place- Everett Redding, 3rd Place- Caeson Gale, and Runner Up- Camryn Hayes.
