Hawk's Place After School program was in full swing this week with Rodeo theme fun. Kids enjoyed Rodeo pencil drawing & craft at Fort Madison Art Center, Tasty food at Elliott Test Kitchen, and pony rides, petting zoo and playground fun at Appleberry Orchard!
Come join us on Friday night as our Central Lee Hawks host Albia! Senior night will take place this night as well as all CL Students will get in free. Elementary and Middle School Students must be accompanied with a parent. Go Hawks!

Mrs. Beth Wells, PK-8 Counselor, coordinates an annual breakfast to welcome new students to Central Lee. Each student may bring a new friend they've made and enjoy lunch and a special treat together. We welcome each of our new HAWKS to the district. We're so glad you're here!

Central Lee Athletics and Fine Arts programs cannot operate without the support of our business and community sponsors. For the past several years, Pilot Grove Savings Bank has been a prominent supporter of Central Lee athletics and fine arts programming. At last night's volleyball game, Pilot Grove Savings Bank presented a $2,000 check to the booster programs at Central Lee. Each booster program will receive $1,000 from Pilot Grove Savings Bank to help support Central Lee student programs.

August 26 is Women’s Equality Day, a time for us to celebrate the advancements and accomplishments women have made throughout our society since gaining the right to vote on this day in 1920.
The Salvation Army of Keokuk is supporting "Weekend Food for Kids." This program is to increase access to easy to prepare, single servings of food to school-aged children on the weekends. A hard copy of the attached letter will be coming home with each K-8 student this week. Please fill out one form PER CHILD, if you are interested in the program. The first week of food will be Wednesday, September 7th. Please contact Beth Wells with any questions.
Friday, August 26 will be a PBIS Fun Day for the Middle School. We will be doing various activities throughout the day to build culture and have some fun! Students will be able to take their school lunch or lunch from home outside, weather permitting. We will all be watching a movie in the gym in the afternoon, "Sing 2". Students may bring snacks, drinks and a beach towel to lay on. Also, show your school spirit and wear BLACK, GOLD, or WHITE!!
