High school students were able to get a good look at future careers at the Skilled Trades Expo put on by the Iowa National Guard. There were dozens of experts representing the many skilled trades opportunities in our area. Students were able to learn about apprenticeships, careers, and their next steps into a great career. #CTEworkforCL

The Boys and Girls Golf that was scheduled for Thursday, April 7th, has been postponed. It is rescheduled for Monday, April 18th.

Huffman Welding & Machine gave eleven of our students a wonderful tour of their facilities last week. Students were able to see some of the industry’s most cutting edge technology found right here in Lee County. Students also saw products the company manufacture that are sent around the world. They were also able to learn about education and career paths that will lead them back to our community. Collin Congdon is a student in the class and has been instrumental in learning the new technologies.
