The 2026 CLHS Local Science Fair on February 1 was a huge success! A big thank you to the Lee County Conservation Center for hosting the event, and to all of the judges who generously gave their time to evaluate the outstanding student projects.

On Saturday, January 24, Nick Madsen represented Central Lee at the SEIBA District Honor Band, held at the University of Iowa School of Music in the Voxman Music Building. Nick was selected following a live audition on January 10 at Fairfield High School, where he performed alongside students from across the SEIBA district. Congratulations to Nick on an outstanding achievement and a job well done.
Central Lee CSD will operate on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, January 26, 2026, due to extreme cold temperatures. There will be no AM Preschool.
