Central Lee Athletics would like to extend a huge thank you to the Central Lee Youth Basketball Program for their incredibly generous donation of $4,596.38 toward new uniforms for our middle school boys and girls basketball teams.
The check was presented during an exciting Youth Basketball Night at our home games vs. Danville, making the moment even more special as our future Hawks were in attendance. The donation was presented by Dr. Andy Crozier (Superintendent and Central Lee Youth Basketball Program Director), Kaisie Peterson, and Melissa Jacobs (Middle School Girls Basketball Coaches and Youth Basketball Program Directors), and was received by Tyler Bryant (Athletic Director), Kritter Hayes (Middle School Boys Basketball Coach), and two of our middle school student-athletes.
This generous contribution directly supports our student-athletes and highlights the strong partnership between our youth programs and school athletics. We are incredibly grateful for the continued commitment to developing basketball at Central Lee and investing in the next generation of Hawks.

Addison’s passion for science began early, and she has been competing in science research since 6th grade. She has presented her work at every level—local, regional, state, and international—and has volunteered over 25 hours supporting younger students as a mentor and judge.
She will serve a one-year term alongside other dedicated high school students, advising SSTFI committee members and volunteers.
Thank you, Addison, for your leadership and commitment to science and research! 🔬

🎨 Budding Artists Shine Bright! 🎨
We are so proud to celebrate our incredibly talented student artists featured in the Fort Madison Area Art Association’s Budding Artist Show, showcasing artwork from Central Lee PK–8 students alongside other local schools.
A special shoutout to our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Ann Canida, whose passion and creativity inspire students every day. This year, the exhibit includes 270 art projects with an impressive 326 Central Lee student artists represented (group projects boosted the number of artists even beyond the project total!).
Here are just a few examples shared with Principal Fuger of the beautiful work you can see on display throughout the month at the FMAAA Art Center. Each piece reflects imagination, effort, and pride.
We invite our families and community to stop by, support our young artists, and celebrate the creativity growing right here in our schools.
