"Squabbles" at 6:45 pm in the NEW High School Gymnasium
All Central Lee families are invited to attend this event. It will be held in the New High School Gym at 6:45 pm.
Chris Scheufele, better known as "Shoof", will be hosting "Squabbles", a game-show style presentation that addresses resiliency and conflict resolution in a fun and entertaining format. Audience participation is encouraged!
Chris is one of the most sought-after youth speakers in the United States. He’s a comedian with a license to teach, a #1 best-selling author, a certified cognitive behavioral therapy practitioner, and lover of tacos and sushi.
With more than a decade in the classroom, Chris has developed clever interventions that resolve conflicts instantly and promote a culture of resilience. He makes resilience education fun!

The day of February 29, Chris will host assemblies and student leadership groups to share his knowledge and experiences with our K-12 students.

Central Lee HS students participated in the "Day on the Hill" sponsored by the Iowa School Board Association and School Administrators of Iowa. Our students showcased the work-based learning program at Central Lee to state legislators.

Little Hawks Preschool teachers Miss Becca and Miss Callie hosted a Valentine Family Night welcoming all students and their parents to spend time together in the classroom. Students showcased their fine motor skills while cutting, drawing, and writing to decorate boxes to hold Valentine's Day cards. We thank the parents for attending this event which celebrates our littlest learners.

This week, Central Lee Middle School kicked off their science fair season! There were 76 middle school projects that were presented, and 27 judges from the community volunteered their time to allow students to talk about their science research. Students have spent many hours over the last few months completing their research, and their hard work has paid off!
The overall champions of this year's science fair were Macy Anderson, Ross Lindner, Johnny Seyb, Addison Hohl, Evelyn Adkins, Chloee Haigh, and Caedon Newton!
Congratulations to all who participated yesterday, and thank you to all those who donated time and prize money for students!
