Students will be dismissed at 12pm on Friday, October 6th, so they can attend and participate in the Homecoming Parade that will take place at 2pm in Montrose. Go Hawks!
The SouthSound Marching Band Clinic, sponsored by the Central Lee Music Department, was held at Central Lee on September 19th. Bands from around the Tri State region received instruction from Jim DePriest, retired Mt. Pleasant high school band director, on ways to improve their show, further the students knowledge and ability in the fundamentals of marching and to help with the overall aspects of their marching program. In addition to each band receiving a clinic, students were able to attend a session centered around marching basics. Overall education is a driving force behind the Central Lee Music Department and the SouthSound Marching Band Clinic was designed to further the musical education of all students.

Our 2nd and 3rd grade parents are invited to join the HAWKS SOAR Meeting at 5:30pm tonight (September 20).
At the meeting, we will show parents how to replace punishments with modeling and rewarding good behavior. Working together is the key to achieving long-term success with our students!
The Central Lee Color Guard Camp performed at the September 15 football game. This event was sponsored by the CL Music Department and choreographed by the high school color guard squad.

On Saturday, September 23rd the annual music department can and bottle drive will be held from 9:00 am to Noon. Drop-off locations will be at the Central Lee High School, Donnellson library, Argyle Methodist Church and the Ivor Center driveway in Montrose.
