The Central Lee High School Choir proudly had twenty students selected to perform in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference (SEISC) Honor Choir on March 10th. This opportunity provided a valuable musical experience, allowing students to learn new music while working under the direction of a guest conductor, exposing them to fresh conducting styles and techniques beyond the classroom setting.

In addition to learning new music, our students performed with singers from all sixteen SEISC member schools, creating a unique ensemble that showcased both individual talent and the strength of our conference music programs.

At the beginning of March, our Ag III students had the opportunity to take a field trip to Lee County Vet Care as part of our biotechnology unit.

Students were able to observe embryo transfer in action, watching Dr. Travis collect eggs from several cows to be fertilized. This hands-on experience allowed students to ask questions and see real-world applications of biotechnology in the agriculture industry.

A big thank you to Lee County Vet Care and Dr. Travis for providing this valuable learning opportunity and allowing our students to experience embryo transfer firsthand!
